Weekend Preferences – Switchboard App, Virtual Event Planning, Bits of Advice

My weekend blog posting routine includes posting links to a few tools or great content that I run through throughout the week.

I don’t go into depth about the searches, but I encourage you to check them out if you find them interesting. The photo in the post is a favorite for the week from an online source or I took it on the street there

  • Switchboard App – This is a remote collaboration and virtual meeting room tool designed for the remote work era. Features like shared workspace, cloud browsing and meeting memory can make your team feel more productive and more connected.
  • Virtual Event Plan – Anyone who plans or oversees a virtual event should read this article by Mike Alton. She offers some great tips for combining an effective and successful virtual event plan.
  • 103 Bits of Advice – “When you lead, your real job is to create more leaders, not more followers.” This is a bit of 103 tips that I wish I knew when I was young at The Technium. An easy and fun preparation for your Saturday morning.

This is my weekend favorite; I want to hear about some of you – tweet me @ Duct tape
